Mathei Florea

Mathei Florea is a jazz pianist from Estonia whose music career started as a child singing in choirs and opera projects. Soon after he found his ambition playing classical piano, which he studied for over 13 years before deciding to change the course for jazz. After being a jazz student of Kristjan Randalu in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre he went to study abroad in Skurup Folkhögskola (Sweden). He received a jazz department Bachelor’s degree from Jazz Institute Berlin in 2020. For the last few years Mathei has had the privilege to form many international music groups such as Mathei Florea New Grounds and Foyl Aka. In addition he's collaborated with artists like ,,New Wind Jazz Orchestra” ,,Ingrid Rabi’’ ,,Kelli Uustani Trio’’ etc.
